MAXNOR 50 is indicated for the control of bacterial infections, such as: Chronic Respiratory Disease DCR; Mycoplasma gallisepticum; Cobacilose (E. coli); Mycoplasmosis (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma maleagridis and Mycoplasma synoviae); Avian cholera (Pasteurella multocida); Staphylococcus aureus; Streptococcus (Streptococcus spp); Salmonellosis (Salmonella spp).
Administer 0.5mg to 10mg norfloxacin per kg body weight for 3 to 5 consecutive days. For salmonellosis administer for 5 consecutive days. Treatment should be continued for a further 48 hours after the disappearance of symptoms or upon the veterinarian criterion.
Suspend the use of the medication 4 days before the slaughter of the animals destined for human consumption.
