DOXIVET 750 is indicated for the prevention and treatment of various diseases caused by doxycycline-sensitive agents such as: Corynebacterium sp., Escherichia coli, Haemophillus sp., Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella enteritidis, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus sp.
Administer 20mg of doxycycline per kg body weight for 3 to 5 consecutive days. It is recommended to continue the treatment for 48 hours after the disappearance of the symptoms.
Suspend the use of the medication 7 days before the slaughter of the animals destined for human consumption when treated in drinking water and 4 days before when treated in the ration.
